Senior Marketing Specialist
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Remote with local travel to ICF's office and client events as needed)

ICF delivers all the strategic communications and marketing services of a top‑flight public relations agency, plus the Energy Efficiency domain expertise and resources of a leading international consulting firm. Our award‑winning Marketing team is growing and we are searching for a Senior Marketing Specialist who is passionate about planning, developing, and implementing marketing strategies for a new, major statewide wildfire recovery program. What You Will Be Doing

Providing input and recommendations for marketing plans and outreach activities.

Working directly with internal team leadership and client(s) to develop and implement marketing and communications plans for stakeholder and public audiences.

Developing marketing materials including advertising campaigns, websites, program collateral, email, print, online, social media, events, etc.

Coordinating integrated outreach campaigns across broadcast, print, online, social media, events.

Managing the review and approval process for marketing materials, working across the organization to deploy efforts.

Preparing monthly reports on activities and results of the marketing program.

Planning and running meetings with diverse internal teams, and presenting directly to client.

Providing marketing advisement and support for local outreach in impacted communities.

Consulting with program, disaster, IT, creative, and outreach teams on specific needs and related materials.

Coordinating asset production.

Developing briefings, presentations, and other communications tools.

Tracking multiple deliverables on deadlines using Microsoft suite, including Excel, SharePoint, and other tools.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field (or one year of related experience may substitute for one year of education).

5+ years of working experience in marketing, advertising, social marketing, or consumer marketing at an advertising agency or related work experience.

1+ year of experience in paid media, digital advertising, traditional marketing, and social media environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in an advertising agency and/or on consumer‑facing marketing accounts.

Proven ability to drive results through strategic marketing and campaign execution.

Experience partnering with local governments, community‑based organizations, and trade allies.

Strong project‑management skills with exceptional organization and attention to detail—able to manage multiple workstreams, timelines, and deliverables simultaneously.

Ability to develop and execute integrated marketing communications plans, including advertising, collateral, digital, and social campaigns.

A creative, solutions‑oriented thinker who can translate complex programs into clear, compelling messaging.

Confidence leading cross‑functional collaboration and consulting with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑demand environment driven by the nature of disaster‑response work, with the ability to manage shifting priorities while supporting outreach and recovery efforts for impacted communities.

Ability to collaborate within shared email platforms and team‑based environments.

Ability to navigate and collaborate using Microsoft Teams and other shared digital tools.

Pay Range
Full‑time employment: $81,147.00 – $137,949.00 (California Remote Office – CA99)
