Senior Content & Marketing Coordinator
to join our team in Washington, DC. This role is ideal for a strong writer early in their career who is eager to develop marketing skills and gain experience supporting integrated campaigns.
You will help bring marketing strategies to life through clear, compelling content while supporting campaign execution across multiple channels. This role offers the opportunity to build both creative and marketing capabilities in a fast‑paced, client‑driven environment.

We bring together the well‑established event services of Smithbucklin and the innovative strategies of 360 Live Media to deliver total event management for any type of industry convening. From smart strategy to flawless execution, our integrated service delivery model elevates the experience for event organizers looking to modernize their approach, optimize their impact, and grow the show. 360 Live Media is a Smithbucklin company with offices in Chicago and Washington, DC.
We are proud to work with many of the largest and fastest‑growing events in the world, including 30 of the top 250 trade shows and 17 of the Fastest/Next 50 events. While a majority of our engagements center around association events, we also support corporate clients with key marketing and event services. What’s more, we frequently provide organizational strategy, branding, marketing, and sales services beyond events and in support of broader growth initiatives. Whether association or corporate, event, credential, or membership, our focus remains on helping clients accomplish their mission, whatever that may be.
What You Will Do
Content Development & Copywriting
Write clear, engaging, and on‑brand copy across channels including email, web, social media, digital ads, and sales materials
Adapt messaging to different audiences, formats, and client voices
Support development of campaign messaging and content themes
Assist with research and information gathering to inform content
Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy and consistency
Apply basic SEO and digital content best practices
Marketing & Campaign Support
Support execution of marketing campaigns across email, web, and social channels
Assist in building and maintaining campaign calendars and content schedules
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of marketing assets
Help prepare campaign briefs, presentations, and marketing materials
Track and report on basic campaign performance metrics
Support internal marketing initiatives and agency efforts

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or related field
5+ years of experience in copywriting, marketing, or internships in a related field
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Familiarity with digital marketing channels (email, social, web)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar tools
Proficiency with HubSpot, MailChimp, or other email platforms
Preferred Qualifications
Internship or experience in an agency or client services environment
Exposure to marketing platforms (e.g., email marketing tools, CMS, or social scheduling tools)
Interest in events, associations, or B2B marketing
Our hybrid environment offers you the option of working from home two days per week. Employees will work a standard 40‑hour week, with the possibility of additional hours based on project deadlines.
Smithbucklin considers several factors when determining compensation, including a candidate’s recent coursework, training, experience, and certifications, among other considerations. The expected pay for this role is $70,000‑$76,000k.
