Overview
CoStar Group is a leading global provider of commercial and residential real‑estate information, analytics, and online marketplaces. The role supports marketing efforts on Homes.com and Apartments.com by capturing high‑quality 3‑D virtual tours, floor plans, and marketing photographs.
Responsibilities
Capture 3‑D virtual tours and footprints for residential properties using Matterport Pro 3 cameras.
Create a portfolio of photographs to best feature homes and apartments, utilizing photography techniques to present spaces in a pleasing way.
Work closely with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet client demands.
Communicate professionally with clients, sales associates, researcher partners, and management to evaluate priorities and initiatives.
When not on a residential home, navigate one‑mile square grids to ensure complete commercial real‑estate data coverage, identify new inventory, and photograph commercial properties.
Adhere to CoStar safety standards to safeguard company vehicle and equipment; represent CoStar professionally at all times.
Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as required.
Physical Requirements
Repetitive and frequent sitting in a car, standing, and walking up to 8 hours per day.
Lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 5 pounds.
Perform repetitive hand and arm movements to type on a tablet or laptop and operate camera equipment.
Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, twisting, and carrying.
Work outside in all seasons and on a rotating weekend schedule.
Qualifications
At least two years of professional experience, with real‑estate photography required.
Experience as a professional photographer or a degree in photography.
Drone photographer with an FAA Part 107 license/certification obtained within 30 days of offer.
Strong time‑management skills, detail‑oriented, and accurate data capture.
Excellent oral and written communication, as well as organizational skills.
Knowledge of Windows, Apple OS, Microsoft Office, and internet applications.
Enjoy working independently in a fast‑paced environment; field experience preferred.
Current, valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record and compliance with traffic laws.
Location & Remote Work
Long Beach/Hempstead, NY. Photographers are managed remotely by a Photography Manager located in local markets.
Compensation
Hourly plus bonus‑eligible position. Hourly wage equivalent to $50,000 – $60,000 annually, based on relevant skills and experience, and includes a generous benefits plan and a monthly bonus incentive plan.
