About The Role
The Social Media Content Creator is a creative, fast-moving and organized role focused on producing high-quality original content for the Company’s social media channels. This position is primarily responsible for filming, editing, and publishing engaging video and visual content across multiple social platforms. The role will manage content for several brand accounts with large audiences and must be able to produce compelling content quickly while maintaining strong brand voice and quality. The role will work closely with marketing, artist relations, and product teams to create content that highlights artists, products, education, and industry culture. This position requires someone who understands how social content works on modern platforms and can consistently create content that captures attention, drives engagement, and supports brand growth.

Responsibilities

Film, edit and publish original short‑form video and visual content for social media platforms.

Create engaging content for approximately 3‑4 company brands with established social audiences.

Produce high‑quality video content quickly, including reels, short‑form tutorials, product highlights, artist features, and promotional content.

Capture content on‑site by occasionally traveling to tattoo studios, conventions, and industry locations.

Edit video content with strong pacing, hooks, captions, and platform‑native formatting.

Repurpose long‑form or existing content into social‑first formats.

Maintain consistent content production and publishing schedules across multiple brands.

Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, artist relations, and product teams to develop creative content ideas.

Monitor social media performance and identify content formats that perform well.

Engage with audiences through comments, messages, and community interaction when needed.

Stay current on social media trends, content formats, and editing styles to ensure content remains relevant and competitive.

Assist with managing comments, feedback, and customer concerns posted on social media platforms.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills

Strong video filming and editing skills with the ability to produce content quickly and efficiently.

Experience editing short‑form video for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.

Strong understanding of social media storytelling, pacing, hooks, and engagement tactics.

Familiarity with editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar tools.

Ability to create visually compelling content tailored for each platform.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple brand projects simultaneously.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.

Excellent communication and creative problem‑solving skills.

Positive attitude with strong attention to detail.

Key Performance Indicators (kpi)

Volume and quality of original content produced each month.

Growth in engagement, reach, and views across assigned brand accounts.

Ability to maintain consistent posting schedules across multiple brands.

Performance of video content including watch time, shares, and interactions.

Ability to identify and replicate high‑performing content formats.

Timeliness and efficiency in producing and editing content.

Qualifications And Education Requirements

2+ years experience creating social media content for brands, businesses, or personal platforms.

Demonstrated experience filming and editing video content.

Portfolio of social media content required.

Experience working with social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

Understanding of social media analytics and performance tracking preferred.

Background in media, marketing, communications, or related field preferred.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds if needed.

Ability to occasionally travel to tattoo studios, conventions, or partner locations to capture social media content.
