Job Summary
We are seeking a creative professional to support the development of innovative material solutions for performance footwear. Our team is dedicated to driving the vision and execution of seasonal projects, shaping products that blend design excellence with technical functionality.
Responsibilities
Implement and execute material design solutions aligning with creative direction and project briefs, contributing to the development of original or refreshed products.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners including design, operations, product management, material development, and manufacturing to ensure seamless project integration.
Utilize design‑based software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite, to develop material concepts, create prototypes, and refine design solutions through constructive feedback and iteration.
Conduct research and selection of materials based on their properties, perform quality assessments, and maintain comprehensive documentation of processes and results.
Required
Bachelor’s degree in design or equivalent industry experience; Associate degree may be considered.
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in performance footwear materials design, with demonstrated work on consumer products brought to market.
Strong portfolio showcasing relevant materials design for footwear, including mini collections and involvement with athlete focus groups.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite; basic understanding of materials types, design processes, material briefs, tech pack creation, and development hand‑offs.
