Responsibilities
Summary: Your work will focus on adjusting non‑injury auto claims and you will work under supervision to investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and adjust low‑complexity auto insurance claims presented by or against our members. This will include the end‑to‑end claims process and settling claims in compliance with state laws and regulations. In this role, you will make a difference to our members as you deliver best‑in‑class customer service through setting appropriate expectations, proactively communicating and providing advice to deliver appropriate solutions to the member.
Acquire and apply basic knowledge of auto coverages, physical damage, and liability
Evaluate and settle high‑volume, low‑complexity claims (e.g., single vehicle, parked/unoccupied, glass, roadside, rental)
Resolve claims through proactive problem‑solving and decision‑making
Document damage evaluation, investigation, negotiation, and settlement decisions
Collaborate with internal and external partners to facilitate resolution
Support members using various communication channels and digital tools
Learn and apply foundational knowledge of P&C insurance products and procedures
Participate in CAT response operations
Requirements
High School diploma or GED
2+ years of customer service experience, demonstrating strong communication and problem‑solving skills
1+ years of auto liability claims experience managing claims from initial contact through resolution
1+ years of experience managing a pending inventory with demonstrated organization and prioritization skills
Strong communication and multitasking skills
Ability to process information and provide exceptional customer service
Successful completion of job‑related assessments
Proven experience with comparative negligence and shared liability determinations
Pay and Benefits
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
