Duties
Develop and implement tailored employment plans for clients based on their skills, interests, and needs Conduct engaging interviews and assessments to identify employment goals and barriers Provide coaching on workplace skills, social interactions, and job retention strategies Collaborate with local employers to identify job openings and facilitate recruitment efforts Deliver training sessions on workforce development topics such as labor laws, addiction counseling, and interview techniques Mentor clients through ongoing support, helping them navigate challenges and celebrate successes Maintain accurate records of client progress, employment outcomes, and training activities Experience
Proven experience in workforce development, social work, or related fields with a focus on employment services Strong knowledge of employment and labor laws relevant to job placement and workplace rights Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is highly desirable Background in addiction counseling or teaching can enhance client support strategies Skilled in interviewing, mentoring, recruiting, and delivering training & development programs Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse populations Ability to build partnerships with community organizations and employers to expand employment opportunities Join us in creating pathways to success!
