Responsibilities
Instructs and coaches team members individually and in groups. Assesses performance needs and develops plans.
Plans and coaches practice sessions.
Partners with Head Coach to develop game strategy and position assignments.
Ensures adherence to all association, conference and university rules by student-athletes and supporting staff.
Recruits a portfolio of prospective student-athletes and ensures timely submission of records for admission.
Develops and implements marketing and promotion plans for program, as well as fundraising activities.
Assists with other program operations as necessary.
Performs an assigned secondary duty for the Department of Athletics.
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's Degree
2–4 years field hockey coaching experience
Preferred Qualifications
Graduate degree in related field
3–5 years field hockey coaching experience
Collegiate playing experience as a field hockey student-athlete
