Assistant Designer - Kid's Swimwear

Our client, a swimwear brand, is looking for an Assistant Designer to join their kid's swim team!
This role is onsite 4 days per week in NYC
Responsibilities
Assist with fabric/trim sourcing
Develop presentations and mood boards
Communicate with overseas factories and vendors
Track and request samples
Assist with color direction
Update CADs
Research trends
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Design
1+ years of design experience in swim or kid's apparel
Illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel skills
Strong understanding of print, silhouette and color
3D design/PLM experience is a huge plus
Strong time management and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
