is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments, injuries, or movement disorders. The role focuses on improving mobility, reducing pain, restoring function, and preventing disability through evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and physical assessments
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and rehabilitation techniques
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation (EMR systems)
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals for integrated care
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and ethical standards
Required Qualifications
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution
Valid state licensure to practice physical therapy in the U.S.
Successful completion of the NPTE (National Physical Therapy Examination)
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
