Job Description
Skorpios Technologies is seeking an experienced Technical Marketing Consultant to support corporate marketing initiatives across optical engine products and U.S.-based fab and test wafer services. This role will focus on refreshing the corporate website, strengthening technical product and services positioning, developing targeted content, and supporting demand generation and event marketing initiatives.
Job Type Contract
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with leadership, sales, and technical teams, and operate independently while delivering against defined timelines and objectives.
Website & Technical Messaging
Refresh and update the corporate website to reflect current product portfolios and service offerings
Develop homepage content, messaging hierarchy, navigation, and calls-to-action aligned with business priorities
Create and update product and service pages, including:
TruSiPh™ Optical Engines (1.6T, 3.2T, and 6.4T platforms)
Fab Services (200 mm and 300 mm CMOS, development through high-volume production)
Test Wafer Services (blanket and patterned wafers, test vehicles, fast-turn programs)
Optimize content for SEO and AI/LLM discovery (e.g., ChatGPT, Google Gemini)
Content Development & Lead Generation
Develop gated technical marketing assets such as whitepapers and buyer guides
Support digital and account-based marketing campaigns, including LinkedIn initiatives
Plan and support technical webinars aligned with product and fab/test service offerings
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align messaging with sales and growth objectives
Support tracking and delivery of marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) and sales-qualified leads (SQLs)
Event & Campaign Support
Support technical marketing activities for OFC 2027, including:
Booth messaging and content development
Pre-event marketing and outreach campaigns
Post-event lead segmentation and follow-up support
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of assets and campaigns
Time Commitment & Work Structure
Approximately 20 hours per week on average
Some periods may require additional hours (up to ~35 hours/week) with prior approval
Consultant is expected to work independently while maintaining alignment with internal stakeholders
Requirements
Proven experience in technical or B2B marketing within technology, semiconductor, or related industries
Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, customer-facing messaging
Experience leading website refreshes and developing product and service content
Familiarity with gated content, digital campaigns, and demand generation programs
Strong written communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple initiatives independently in a fast-moving environment
Preferred Qualifications
Semiconductor, silicon photonics, or advanced manufacturing experience
Experience marketing foundry, fab services, or manufacturing services
Trade show or technical conference marketing experience
Experience with SEO and AI-assisted content optimization
