Tax Analyst Multi-State Corporate Taxes
Location: Fort Worth, TX Pay: $35 $59 per hour Schedule: Monday Friday (8 AM 5 PM) Employment Type: Temporary (December May) Staffmark is hiring in your area. Develop your career with this Tax Analyst opportunity. We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Analyst to join our corporate tax team. In this role, you will oversee sales & use, payroll, excise, and property tax compliance for our domestic operations. You'll ensure timely filings, identify tax-saving opportunities, manage audits, and collaborate with finance, accounting, and business teams across the organization. This role also supports income tax compliance, accounting, and related reporting, serving as a trusted technical resource for transactional and indirect taxes. Key Responsibilities
Manage multi-state sales & use, payroll, excise, and property tax filings and payments Ensure accurate and timely tax deposits, returns, and reporting obligations Conduct and coordinate all aspects of state tax audits and resolve tax notices Research and provide recommendations on domestic tax issues to finance and business teams Improve tax systems, processes, and reporting efficiency Prepare and support tax accruals, reconciliations, and ASC 740 income tax provisions Participate in special projects, process improvements, and analytical initiatives Qualifications
