Reporting to the Head of North America Marine, this role will be primarily responsible to execute the US underwriting strategy for Inland Marine. The leader will also be the technical expert and Product Line Executive for Transportation. In addition, the position is responsible for attracting, managing and developing a team of highly accomplished, driven colleagues.

How you will create an impact

* Manages all Inland Marine underwriting within the US and establishes, implements, and evaluates the production and profitability goals.

* Direct accountability for the business results of the US with respect to profitability, penetration and/or volume within a specific account, segment, geographic area, product or line of business.

* In partnership with the Senior Manager's, drive and execute the long term business strategy for the US including all accounts for product accounts.

* Serve as a technical expert, exercising technical authority with regards to major or multiple insurance product line(s) within Inland Marine.

* Serve as Product Line Executive for Transportation.

* Be an educator of risk for the product and knowledgeable of market conditions, trends, and opportunities.

* Will lead strategic product discussions with brokers and be the senior referral point for complex risks.

* Within the US, manage annual budget process as well as monthly forecasts for a major or multiple insurance product line(s) within Inland Marine.

* Oversee underwriting staff including managing and evaluating work; makes decisions regarding pay, performance management, development, employment, and staffing.

* In collaboration the Senior Managers, Head of Marine and HR, implement tools and strategies to attract and retain top industry talent and develop high performing teams.

* Identify areas/positions within the US that lack sufficient bench strength, and employees who require additional skills to fill those needs; develop and execute development/training/recruiting platforms/plans to address the deficiencies.

* Establish strong relationships with all members of the leadership teams; create mutual understanding of overall parameters and goals to drive effective execution of business model.

Interact with all levels of Insurance community.

* Drive a culture that promotes collaboration, diversity, and inclusion.

* Establish the operational direction for the US to ensure efficiencies coincide with growth objectives.

* Ensures the required standards of governance, systems and controls, and regulatory compliance are established and maintained.

What you'll need to succeed

For positions based in Los Angeles, CA, the base salary range is $171,000-$238,000 , for positions based in New York, NY, the base salary range is $179,000-$250,000, for positions based in Illinois, the base salary range is $162,000-$225,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan. Reporting directly to the Claims TPA Regulatory Manager, the role will support the oversight of all North American state and province regulatory matters relating to third‑party administrators handling claims on behalf of AIG. Position Description
Full‑time US‑based employment, Claims TPA Governance.

Monitor changes in state, federal, and market conduct regulatory requirements impacting claims handling and TPA activities.

Ensure TPA partners maintain compliance with claims regulations, including timeliness standards, documentation rules, licensing requirements, privacy laws, and unfair claims practices statutes.

Identify compliance risks and support corrective action plans with internal stakeholders and TPA leadership.

Prepare and support responses to Department of Insurance (DOI) inquiries, data calls, market conduct exams, and regulatory filings related to TPA‑handled claims.

Serve as a liaison between Claims, Compliance, Legal, and external TPA partners.

Support the response to and compliance with state regulatory audits and fines.

Minimum Experience / Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and/or equivalent combination of experience; insurance or financial services industry preferred.

Minimum 5 years prior experience working with TPAs in the NAM regulatory space.

Knowledge of regulatory best practices and state, province, and carrier requirements.

Understanding of quality controls and risk management disciplines is a strong asset.

Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) are needed to ensure sourcing strategies and tactical decisions are based on fact and data.

Ability to influence and resolve complex regulatory issues.

Strong organizational, customer service and leadership/influencing skills.

The Data Office supports the overall General Insurance product by managing Data, Data Governance, and the presentation of the data (Business Intelligence Delivery).
AIG is looking for a driven individual to assume a critical role within the Data Office. This role will be responsible for working directly with leaders within Commercial Lines functional areas ensuring an understanding of data and analytics needs and priorities. In addition, this role will have Global Data Warehouse Product Ownership responsibilities ensuring execution is aligned to the highest business priorities and Data Office strategy and that sunset opportunities are being realized.
The Data Analytics, Manager, Commercial Lines role sits within the Global Data Office at the intersection of business strategy, data, and analytics, working closely with Commercial Lines leaders to turn complex questions into actionable insights. As both a trusted business partner and product owner within the Global Data Warehouse, this role helps shape how AIG uses data to make better decisions, simplify its analytics landscape, and focus investment where it matters most.
Responsibilities

Partner closely with Commercial Lines leaders to understand their goals, challenges, and priorities, and translate those needs into clear, outcome-driven data and analytics capabilities
Shape and maintain business documentation through data and analytics roadmaps that align business priorities with global Data Office strategy, enterprise standards, and architectural direction
Serve as product owner within the Global Data Warehouse program, setting direction, prioritizing work, authoring business requirements, overseeing user acceptance testing, and ensuring delivery remains focused on the highest-value business outcomes
Enable strong execution by working with agile delivery teams to manage dependencies, clarify priorities, and ensure initiatives stay aligned to agreed scope and timelines
Continuously challenge the portfolio by identifying opportunities to simplify, consolidate, or sunset data and analytics solutions that no longer deliver sufficient value
Act as a trusted advisor to business partners, helping define meaningful metrics, insights, and use cases that support better decision-making
Lead through influence, coordinating across data engineering, BI, analytics, and business teams to drive alignment and progress
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data-driven roles, preferably within Commercial / P&C Insurance; Master’s degree preferred
Demonstrated success partnering with senior business stakeholders to drive data and analytics transformation efforts
Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of P&C insurance metrics, financials, and operating models
Experience translating business outcomes into data, analytics, and reporting requirements
Working knowledge of data management, data warehousing, business intelligence, and analytics platforms
Familiarity with programming and statistical tools, with the ability to engage credibly with technical teams
Proven ability to manage medium-to-large initiatives and coordinate work across multiple teams and stakeholders
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a structured and detail-oriented approach
Comfort operating in an Agile environment and adapting to shifting priorities
Ability to lead effectively through influence rather than direct authority
Highly collaborative, motivated, and proactive mindset with strong communication skills
Compensation and Benefits

For positions based in New Jersey, the base salary range is $99,000 - $143,000. For positions based in New York, the base salary range is $105,000 - $148,000. For positions based in Illinois, the base salary range is $120,000 - $150,000. For positions based in Massachusetts, the base salary range is $122,000 - $150,000. In addition, the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
