Job Description
As a Marketing Program Specialist, you will be at the forefront of driving demand for the world's most distributed cloud platform. You will be responsible for the execution and optimization of high-impact digital marketing programs that introduce developers and enterprise architects to Akamai's suite of cloud computing services – including Linode Kubernetes Engine (LKE), Distributed Edge Computing, and Global Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).

Responsibilities

Developing and executing end-to-end digital campaigns across LinkedIn, Google Search/Display, and programmatic platforms to drive high-quality leads for Akamai's cloud and security portfolios

Managing daily performance of paid media budgets, performing continuous A/B testing on ad copy, creative assets, and landing pages to improve CTR and conversion rates

Leading the lifecycle of multiple digital projects simultaneously, ensuring all assets (UTM tags, tracking pixels, creative specs) are delivered on time for global launches

Collaborating on the development of "Cloud-First" visual identities and messaging that resonates with a developer‑centric audience

Partnering with Sales Development and Field teams to ensure seamless lead hand‑off and provide digital air cover for regional events and account‑based marketing (ABM) plays

Working in tandem with regional marketing leads in EMEA, APJ, and ASIA to localize campaigns while maintaining a unified global brand voice

Utilizing Salesforce, Marketo, and Tableau to track the "lead to opportunity" funnel, providing actionable insights to Product and Marketing leadership

Qualifications

Have 2 years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, business, or a related field and a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent

Have experience in B2B digital marketing, ideally within the cloud computing, SaaS, or DevOps industry

Have hands‑on experience with LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Ads, and Meta Business Suite

Have proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, or Monday.com) to manage concurrent deliverables and global sprint cycles

Have the ability to translate complex data sets into clear "so‑what" summaries for cross‑functional stakeholders

Compensation
Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US‑based candidates only, the base salary for this position ranges from $65,700–$118,300 per year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
