Business Development – Client Care – Home Instead Akron & Medina – $60-$70K

We are seeking a self‑starter who is able to manage multiple tasks daily. The ideal candidate will have a high level of energy, confidence and resilience that will allow them to create relationships with clients, their families, our Care Professionals, and our Referral Provider network. They should be well organized, multitask efficiently, and be prepared to change gears quickly throughout the day.

How You'll Spend your Time
Our CCA is an essential part of the Client Services Team.
You'll Spend Your Time
Meeting sales targets by building relationships with and advising prospective clients and their families
Conducting consultations in clients’ homes to inform the clients and their families of the process, to explain services, and how we can best help them, and successfully onboard them with the company
Ensuring client onboarding process is completed as per process guidelines
Maintaining consistent follow-up with potential clients and families who have not yet initiated services, ensuring ongoing support and engagement
Collaborating with the care team, schedulers, and Care Pros to ensure seamless service delivery
Leading client and Care Pro introductions, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for both parties
Sharing in On-Call rotation with colleagues (additional compensation applies)
Your Support Responsibilities Will Be
Ensuring client onboarding and community outreach processes are followed diligently
Entering data into company systems in a timely manner
Responding with timely, clear, and concise communication to all client inquiries
Building strong relationships with all company stakeholders
Supporting company values and goals
Creating and delivering presentations internally and externally
Facilitating introductions between caregivers and clients and delivering necessary supplies and documents to client’s homes
Assisting with other key operations activities as well as quality assurance calls and visits to our clients, maintaining, updating, and tracking information in company databases with client information, managing follow-ups promptly, preparing the necessary paperwork for consultations and training, and assist with responding to and resolving client calls and/or concerns
What YOU Must Bring to the Table?
Healthcare experience, required
STNA, LPN, RN preferred
2 Years of consultative sales experience, required
Excellent people skills
Exceptional communication skills (both oral and written)
Drive and self‑motivation to succeed
Can‑do approach
Fast learner
Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Suite including Salesforce
Current, valid Driver’s License
Current, valid Automobile Insurance
Ability to perform background checking requirements of the State of Ohio
What Else Should You Know
This is a full‑time position that’s a combination of office work and road warrior!
The typical schedule is Monday‑Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., but remember we’re a company of people who work with people, so some flexibility is afforded and required!
Base Pay: $60,000 – $70,000 + performance bonus (after probationary period)
