Affiliate Marketing Intern
Great Scott is a public relations and affiliate marketing firm that specializes in consumer products and goods. We guide new and established companies through an ever-changing media landscape, generating buzz on key media platforms and developing innovative affiliate content partnerships to boost the bottom line.
Who We Are Looking For:
This is an unpaid internship for a student looking for a summer intern-to-hire role. We're looking to have you join us first as an affiliate marketing intern and then as a junior account coordinator.
Location & Flexibility:
This role is 4 days in office in Denver, CO and work from home on Fridays. Applicants will need to be in Denver or the surrounding areas.
Role Description
The Affiliate Marketing Intern will support the affiliate marketing team, including day-to-day operations across a portfolio of affiliate clients spanning multiple networks, including Impact, Awin, and Amazon Creator Connections. You will be in charge of all things coupon and reporting — keeping our programs clean, compliant, and optimized.
This role is best suited for highly organized, detail-oriented individuals eager to grow in the affiliate marketing space.
What You Bring
Strong organizational and time-management skills — you can juggle multiple clients and deadlines without dropping the ball
A proactive, curious mindset — you notice things, ask questions, and follow through
Comfort working in spreadsheets and picking up new platforms quickly
Prior experience with affiliate networks (Impact, Awin, Rakuten, ShareASale) is a plus, but not required.
Key Responsibilities
Coupon monitoring — proactively search for, identify, and flag unauthorized or expired promotional codes across the web
Coupon partner outreach — communicate with coupon, deal, and sub-network partners to coordinate promotions via email, newsletter placements, and text links
Update text links in Impact and Awin for all clients as promotions change or new campaigns launch
Complete Monday and Friday Impact dashboard updates to track weekly performance for client reporting
Support reporting for EOM recaps
