Position Overview
The Talent Solutions Business Development Associate Program is an intensive, structured development program designed for early-career, high-potential individuals who are motivated to build a long-term career in sales, recruiting, and talent solutions. Internally, this role is classified as an Associate position within the Talent Solutions organization. Externally, it is structured as a rotational development program to provide exposure across business development and recruiting functions before placement into a specialized vertical. This program provides hands‑on training across both business development and talent delivery functions, with exposure to multiple industry verticals including Administrative Support, Finance & Accounting, Technology, and Science. Participants will learn how to generate and develop business, build client relationships, source and place top talent, and operate in a high‑performance, metric-driven environment. After completing program rotations and foundational training, individuals will transition into a specialized role aligned to business needs, performance, and individual strengths within one of Atrium's core verticals. This role is best suited for individuals who are competitive, coachable, and energized by performance‑based environments where effort directly impacts results, earnings, and career growth.

Responsibilities Of The Talent Solutions Business Development Associate

Support new business development efforts through prospecting, outreach, and pipeline generation.

Conduct cold outreach, networking, and leverage existing relationships to generate opportunities.

Schedule and support consultative meetings with hiring managers and HR/Talent Acquisition partners.

Learn to position Atrium's staffing solutions and competitive differentiators in the market.

Assist in developing proposals, pricing strategies, and client presentations.

Work toward defined sales activity metrics and performance expectations.

Source candidates using job boards, social media, referrals, and direct outreach.

Screen candidates for contract and full-time opportunities through interviews and assessments.

Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified talent to support client needs.

Maintain ongoing engagement with candidates throughout the hiring process.

Align candidate experience, skills, and career goals with client requirements.

Coordinate interviews and support offer management.

Assist in managing the full placement process from introduction through onboarding.

Ensure a high-quality candidate and client experience throughout the process.

Maintain accurate records of all business development and recruiting activity in the CRM.

Track outreach, conversations, submissions, interviews, and placements.

Manage multiple candidates, clients, and opportunities in a fast-paced environment.

Use data and feedback to improve performance and execution.

Partner with internal teams including recruiters, business development leaders, and subject matter experts.

Support client relationships through responsiveness and high-quality delivery.

Collaborate across teams to develop tailored workforce solutions.

Participate in structured training across sales, recruiting, and talent strategy.

Gain exposure to multiple industry verticals and client segments.

Stay current on market trends, staffing strategies, and Atrium offerings.

Contribute to a competitive, collaborative program environment.

Required Experience/Skills for the Talent Solutions Business Development Associate

0-4 years of experience in sales, recruiting, customer-facing, or performance-driven roles.

Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Physical Requirements

Ability to work at a desk for extended periods of time.

Ability to work onsite 3 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) in Holmdel, NJ with travel to NYC as needed.

Ability to attend trainings, meetings, and industry events as required.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
