
Graphic Designer

Spectrum Marketing Companies again has immediate openings for graphic designers to join our award-winning in‑house creative team. The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following functions with accuracy and attention to detail.
Job Functions
Design a wide variety of projects and prepare files for both in‑house and outside vendor production
Products will include direct mail, collateral materials, signage/POP and digital formats
Design within strict brand guidelines for national accounts
Required Skills
Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in graphic design; commercial printing experience highly preferred
A bachelor’s degree in graphic design preferred but equivalent experience considered
Strong working knowledge of Mac Platform CC InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, and MS Office. Additional applications are a plus
Familiarity with preparing files for offset and digital printing
Exceptional grammar/spelling skills
Scrupulous attention to detail a must
Ability to work under pressure without compromising accuracy in a deadline‑driven environment
Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented; ability to multi‑task
Ability to accurately proofread is highly desired
Demonstrated ability to design for direct marketing, publications and promotional advertising preferred
Ability to design for large format printing of all types
Must enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment
Capable of working as part of a team and independently
Positive, energetic, productive team player with the ability to take direction
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at desk
Significant periods of screen time
Fine motor skills for keyboarding, manipulating artwork and copy
Ability to distinguish colors and shades
Oral communication in English (other language may be a ‘plus’)
Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds
