About the Role We break artists. We’re looking for someone to create, test, and scale content working directly with our VP of Digital Marketing. This isn’t a “social media coordinator” role where you’re scheduling posts and writing captions for LinkedIn. You’ll have a direct hand in breaking artists and songs – figuring out what sounds, hooks, and formats actually move the needle on streams and fan growth.
TikTok marketing for music is not a “strategy” exercise. It’s a volume game with taste. You’re posting, watching what hits, doubling down, and iterating fast. The best person for this role is already doing some version of this for fun.
Marketing is central to how artists get discovered – not some afterthought or checkbox. We’re fishing in the weird waters of the algorithm and need someone who lives there.
Who you probably are You’re probably in college or recently graduated. Maybe you run a meme page or fan edit account that’s gotten real traction. Maybe you’ve grown a personal TikTok to a few thousand followers just by being good at it. You might not have any “professional experience” and that’s fine – we don’t care about your resume, we care about your feed.
You’re obsessed with music and memes. You live on TikTok. You know CapCut or similar editing tools inside and out. You have strong opinions about what makes content work and you’re not afraid to share them.
What the work actually looks like Content creation at speed – You’re making TikToks and edits.
Testing and iterating – Post a batch, see what sticks, do more of what’s already working. This is the whole playbook.
Sound and trend scouting – You’re plugged into music TikTok, meme TikTok, and the weird intersections between them.
UGC and creator seeding – Help identify creators who might organically use our artists’ songs.
Comments as creative intel – We believe the comment section is the new creative brief. You should be reading comments obsessively.
Please submit your resume, along with a screenshot of your “Average Screen Time” to jobs@efent.com
