Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Landscaping Foreman to oversee
daily operations of a landscaping crew. The Foreman MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL TO MILITARY INSTALLATIONS! THIS IS A MUST! Foreman is responsible for ensuring high-quality
landscape installation services, managing team productivity, and fostering a safe,
efficient, and professional work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of 2-6 crew members in performing commercial landscape installation projects.
- Coordinate daily job assignments and ensure timely completion of scheduled tasks.
- Operate and maintain commercial landscaping equipment (e.g., skid
steers, trenchers, trailers, trucks).
- Read and interpret landscape blueprints, site layouts, and work orders.
- Ensure proper use of materials, tools, and equipment, minimizing waste and ensuring safety.
- Monitor work quality to meet company and client standards.
- Train and mentor crew members on best practices, safety protocols, and equipment use.
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and management as needed.
- Conduct daily safety briefings and enforce safety compliance on job sites.
- Track project progress and report hours, issues, and needs to supervisors.
Qualifications:

MUST PASS BACKGROUND CHECK
- 3+ years of commercial landscaping experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of commercial landscaping practices, tools, and plant materials.
- Ability to read and interpret landscape plans and blueprints.
- Valid driver's license; CDL is a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and perform labor-intensive tasks.
Preferred Skills:
- Irrigation system installation and repair experience.
- Hardscape installation knowledge (pavers, retaining walls, etc.).
- Equipment operation (mini-excavators, trenchers, skid steers).
Work Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM (Hours may vary based on project needs)
- Occasional weekend or overtime work during peak seasons
