IT Asset Management Analyst

role for a large enterprise client. This position plays a key role in managing end-user services operations, including hardware and software asset tracking, financial analysis, contract oversight, and service optimization. The

IT Asset Management Analyst

will support lifecycle management of IT assets while ensuring compliance, cost control, and operational efficiency across a broad portfolio of technology services. This role requires close coordination with internal stakeholders and external vendors to maintain service quality and support ongoing enterprise-wide initiatives.

Responsibilities:
Utilize ServiceNow for ticketing, asset management, reporting, and data accuracy maintenance.
Manage hardware and software asset tracking, retirements, and lifecycle documentation.
Audit software and hardware maintenance contracts to ensure accurate billing and compliance.
Support purchasing processes, including requisitions, vendor evaluation, and procurement tracking.
Use SAP for forecasting, budget entries, financial reporting, and cost flow analysis.
Evaluate and process equipment and software ordering requests through established workflows.
Analyze software license compliance, including Microsoft licensing requirements and adherence.
Develop statement of work documents for new and renewed IT service contracts.
Facilitate vendor performance meetings to ensure SLA compliance and service quality standards.
Generate ad hoc reporting and advanced analysis to improve operational efficiency.
Support chargeback processes and maintain accurate financial and usage tracking systems.
Provide consultation on IT, financial, and statistical data to support decision-making.
Maintain accurate asset databases and support end-user computing inventory management.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT asset management, end-user services, or related IT operations.
Experience with ServiceNow for asset management and IT service workflows.
Proficiency in SAP for budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Strong knowledge of software licensing compliance, including enterprise licensing models.
Experience supporting procurement processes, vendor management, and contract administration.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Familiarity with IT hardware lifecycle management, including computers, mobility devices, and printers.
Experience developing and analyzing IT financial reports, cost tracking, and chargeback models.
Understanding of IT service level agreements and vendor performance management.
Knowledge of corporate financial, purchasing, and accounting policies.
