Photo Retoucher & Graphic Designer

A growing fashion-focused company is seeking a detail-driven Retoucher & Graphic Designer to join its in-house creative team. This position is ideal for someone who is highly skilled in photo retouching and also comfortable supporting a variety of design needs across digital and print channels.
This role is centered on image post-production. The person in this seat will take ownership of retouching product and lifestyle photography to ensure polished, consistent, high-quality visuals for e-commerce, marketing, and brand collateral. In addition to retouching, this person will contribute to design projects and collaborate with creative, marketing, and cross‑functional partners.
Key Responsibilities
Retouch high volumes of product and editorial‑style imagery with strong attention to color, texture, and visual consistency.
Perform detailed photo editing including cleanup, compositing, color balancing, skin retouching, and background refinement.
Prepare final image assets for digital use, ensuring proper formatting, sizing, resolution, and file organization.
Review imagery for quality control, identifying inconsistencies in cropping, sharpness, color accuracy, and overall presentation.
Manage and organize image libraries and production files in a structured, accessible way.
Partner with photographers and internal creative stakeholders to support efficient photo workflows from shoot through final delivery.
Create and adapt visual assets for email, web, presentations, ads, and printed materials.
Assist with production needs tied to campaigns, launches, and photoshoots.
Support ongoing creative requests across multiple business initiatives.
Qualifications
1–3 years of professional retouching experience, ideally in fashion, apparel, consumer products, or e-commerce.
Advanced Photoshop skills, including masking, compositing, tonal correction, and high‑end retouching techniques.
Experience with Capture One and/or Lightroom for image selection, color correction, and batch processing.
Working knowledge of Illustrator and InDesign preferred.
Familiarity with e‑commerce and email marketing asset production is a plus.
Strong visual judgment with an excellent eye for detail, consistency, and brand presentation.
Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize workload, and produce quality work in a fast‑paced environment.
Self‑motivated, collaborative, and adaptable.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Portfolio Requirement
A portfolio is required for consideration. Candidates should include examples of retouching work, especially product imagery, skin retouching, and color correction. Before‑and‑after samples are highly encouraged. Additional design samples may be included as supplemental work.
