Sr. Tax Accountant (Timonium)

The Senior Accountant is responsible for tax compliance and planning for high‑net‑worth individuals with complex investment structures. This role supports clients with an integrated approach that includes philanthropic planning and trust and estate considerations.
Responsibilities
Prepare and review individual, trust, and private foundation tax returns, including support on complex tax matters for high‑net‑worth families with investments in private equity, real estate, venture capital, hedge funds, and ownership interests in management companies and general partner entities.
Support tax research and consulting engagements as needed.
Develop a deep understanding of family office structures, trust and estate planning, and multigenerational wealth strategies.
Collaborate closely with team members to deliver the firm’s proactive and client‑focused tax advisory services.
Manage assignments independently with minimal supervision while consistently meeting internal and client deadlines.
Take on additional complex or non‑traditional tax projects aligned with the firm’s mission and evolving client needs.
Ensure performance and professional conduct align with the company’s Vision/Traction Organizer.
Actively seek feedback and contribute to continuous improvement across the team.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
Strong written, verbal, and quantitative skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and directly with clients.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple clients simultaneously.
Commitment to delivering a high level of client service.
Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and capable of working independently.
