Senior Tax Accountant (Miami Shores)

We are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant with a strong background in public accounting to join our client's growing team. This role is ideal for professionals currently working as, or recently serving as, a Senior Tax Accountant or Tax Accountant within a public accounting firm.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations
Conduct tax research and provide guidance on complex tax issues
Work directly with clients to gather financial data and ensure compliance
Identify tax planning opportunities and risk areas
Assist in mentoring junior staff and reviewing their work
Stay updated on changing tax laws and regulations
Requirements
Must come from a public accounting background
Current or recent experience as:
Senior Tax Accountant OR
Tax Accountant
Strong experience with multi-entity tax returns
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Preferred Qualifications
CPA or EA certification (preferred, not required)
Experience with tax software (e.g., CCH, ProSystem, UltraTax)
