Trading Assistant (Fairfield County)

is seeking a

Trading Assistant

to join its expanding team. Reporting to the Head of Trading, this role will partner closely with the trade desk to support accurate trade capture, cash and position reconciliation, development of models and dashboards, and the automation of credit rating analysis and reporting.

The ideal candidate will bring 1-3 years of experience in credit research or trading from a hedge fund, private equity, or investment firm.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of trading activity
Perform regular reconciliations across positions, cash, and performance metrics
Monitor market activity and provide relevant insights to support the trading team
Build and enhance analytical tools, data processes, and reporting capabilities to improve efficiency and decision-making

Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience in credit research or trading from a hedge fund, private equity, or investment firm
Bachelor's Degree
Detail-oriented, collaborative, and strong analytical skills
Open to being in office 5 days/week
