About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Export Compliance Specialist to support critical trade compliance operations within a highly regulated aerospace and defense environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring all import/export activities remain fully compliant with U.S. and international regulations.
⚙️ What You’ll Do
Ensure compliance with ITAR, EAR, and OFAC regulations
Prepare and review export documentation (EEI, commercial invoices, shipping records)
Perform ECCN and HTS classifications
Conduct restricted party screening and support export licensing
Partner with internal teams, freight forwarders, and customs brokers
Maintain audit-ready compliance records
Identify compliance risks and drive process improvements
✅ What We’re Looking For
3–7 years of trade compliance or import/export experience
Strong knowledge of ITAR/EAR regulations
Hands-on experience with export documentation and classification
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
⭐ Preferred
Aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing experience
Export licensing experience
Trade compliance or customs certifications
