About the Role:
We are a fast-paced fuel distribution company looking for a reliable and detail-oriented
Fuel Operations Coordinator
to join our team. This position plays a key role in keeping our fuel operations running safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and environmental regulations while coordinating daily deliveries and supporting office operations.

What You’ll Do:
Compliance & Safety
Maintain DOT, FMCSA, and hazmat compliance records
Track driver qualification files (CDL, medical cards, endorsements)
Monitor Hours of Service (HOS) and ELD compliance
Prepare documentation for audits and inspections
Ensure proper fuel delivery documentation (BOLs, fuel tickets)
Dispatch Operations
Schedule and dispatch fuel trucks daily
Communicate with drivers in real time
Adjust routes based on delays, traffic, or customer needs
Coordinate truck availability and maintenance downtime
Ensure timely fuel deliveries to all customers
Administrative Support
Process fuel tickets, invoices, and delivery records
Enter and manage operational data accurately
Assist with payroll hours and driver records
Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules
Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in
fuel, trucking, logistics, or dispatching preferred
Strong understanding of DOT / FMCSA compliance (or willingness to learn)
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Preferred (Not Required):
Experience with ELD systems (Samsara, KeepTruckin, Motive, etc.)
Knowledge of fuel operations or rack pricing systems
Prior dispatch or logistics coordination experience
