Position Summary
The Vice President of Finance provides strategic and operational leadership for the finance function at Minard Enterprises. This role directs financial planning, reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, internal controls, and risk oversight while partnering with executive leadership to support sustainable growth, profitability, and sound business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
Lead all finance operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, treasury, and cash flow management.
Develop financial strategies, plans, and performance metrics aligned with company goals.
Prepare and present timely, accurate financial analyses and executive-level recommendations.
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and policies.
Strengthen internal controls, financial processes, and risk management practices across the organization.
Partner with department leaders to evaluate business performance, resource allocation, and investment priorities.
Manage banking, audit, tax, and external advisor relationships.
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team focused on accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
8+ years of progressive finance or accounting leadership experience, including senior management responsibility.
Strong knowledge of financial planning and analysis, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
Demonstrated ability to translate financial data into clear business insights and strategic recommendations.
Experience leading teams, improving processes, and supporting cross-functional decision-making.
Excellent communication, judgment, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications
CPA, CMA, MBA, or comparable advanced credential.
Experience in multi-entity, growth-stage, or privately held business environments.
Background supporting capital planning, financing activities, or strategic expansion initiatives.

Compensation & Benefits
**Base Salary:** $180,000 – $200,000 (commensurate with experience)
