Conversion Salary:

A growing healthcare nonprofit in the Bronx is expanding its finance team and has opened a new opportunity for a
Senior Financial Accountant . This role reports directly to the VP of Finance and is a great chance to join a mission-driven organization during an exciting period of growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage financial reporting across multiple programs and funding sources
Perform expense and cost allocation in compliance with grant requirements
Conduct forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis
Review and verify expenses; investigate discrepancies
Prepare detailed financial and grant reports for internal and external stakeholders
Support audit processes and ensure compliance
Partner with program managers and vendors on financial data and claims
Utilize Excel for data analysis, reporting, and tracking
Must-Have Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
3+ years of financial accounting experience (no AR/AP)
Strong understanding of balance sheets, debits, and credits
Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas, data manipulation)
Experience with financial reporting across multiple programs/funding sources
Nice-to-Have:
Healthcare industry experience
Experience with Sage Intacct
