Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a full time Psychiatrist at our Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX.Join us in providing exceptional care to the men and women who have served our country.Position Details: - Location: Lackalnd AFB in San Antonio, TX - Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30pm - Type of Role: On-site Outpatient setting- Direct Patient Care Key Responsibilities: - Deliver high-quality psychiatric care to veterans. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient mental health needs. - Outpatient setting- 6 to 8 direct patient care hours per day- Shall be responsible for providing comprehensive psychiatric services- Provide general psychiatric care to male and female adult Veterans which includes, but is not limited to, conducting diagnostic evaluations, psychiatric consultation, medication management, and individual psychotherapy. - The psychiatrist provides assessment of serious and complicated cases involving psychiatric illness, catastrophic medical conditions, dementia and other high-risk diagnoses Qualifications: - Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology - Unrestricted State Medical License: Valid and in good standing in any U.S. state. - DEA Certification: Current and unrestricted DEA license. - BLS thru the AHA or American Red Cross - Experience:Must have a minumum of 24 months of experience within the last 36 months as a board certified Psychiatrist. - Commitment to Excellence: Strong dedication to serving the veteran population with compassion and professionalism.
