Summary
Glaz-Tech Industries is looking to fill the position of plant/production manager. The plant manager is responsible for the complete oversight of all manufacturing departments to ensure goals and metrics of safety, quality, schedule and cost are met.
Responsibilities may include:
Daily oversight and execution to the production schedule.
Coordinate, lead, and execute daily production plans in the achievement of production goals,
Drive compliance to company policy, such as reporting time, attendance, safety, audits, etc.
Ensure consistent and effective shift and work scheduling.
Analysis of manpower in each department
Provide leadership and coaching that create a positive team morale and effectiveness.
Create and maintain an environment with employee engagement to implement changes in procedures to improve value-added activities and eliminate wasteful activities.
Administering monthly recording of inventory
Ensure a safe work environment for all employees- maintain neat and clean work areas and ensure compliance with safety and 5S standards.
Requirements:
Ability to communicate in English
Background Check/ Drug Screen
Qualifications:
Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
Must possess strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Must be 18 years or older
5 years of work experience
2 years of work experience in glass fabrication preferred
Authorized to work in the US
