How you'll make an impact in this role

This is a great opportunity for a Advanced Practice Provider to join our team in a highly collaborative, mission-driven role within a multidisciplinary child abuse and sexual assault program at a Level I pediatric trauma center.

Join our established multidisciplinary team of 2 physicians, 1

APP, 2 social workers, a SANE coordinator, a nurse program manager, and a program analyst.
Call structure: One week per month
Practice setting: mix of both inpatient and outpatient
Employed position within a nonprofit health system
Lead specialized medical evaluations for children and adolescents in both inpatient and outpatient settings, ensuring a compassionate and expert approach to complex cases of suspected abuse or neglect.

Collaborate within a multidisciplinary ecosystem, partnering with law enforcement, CPS, and advocacy centers to provide the medical clarity necessary for child protection and legal proceedings.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration preferred.
Education:
Master's degree of Nursing required.

2 years of pediatric advance practice provider experience
