Position Summary
As a Landscape Designer at Salsbery Brothers, you will plan and create outdoor spaces that are fully functional and visually appealing. This role involves a blend of artistic vision and technical expertise to develop designs that enhance a property while meeting the needs and wants of clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscape design, a keen eye for detail, and strong sales skills.
Responsibilities
Collaborate and engage with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget while maintaining ongoing communication to ensure satisfaction and address any needs
Conduct thorough site evaluations to identify opportunities or constraints during the design process
Create an initial design through sketches, drawings, and digital models to present to clients while incorporating client feedback into the planning process
Develop detailed landscaping plans and estimates
Close sales by effectively communicating the value of our services
Oversee the project, coordinating with contractors and suppliers while making sure budgets and timelines are met
Work closely with other landscape designers and sales staff, participating in team meetings and contributing to the overall collective goal
Position Requirements
Proven experience in landscape design and sales
Proficient in design software
Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Valid driver’s license
Position Salary
Negotiable depending on experience
