Office of the CEO – Social Media Internship Opportunity
eMed is seeking one (1) Summer Intern to support the Office of the CEO during our 8-week Summer Internship Program, running from June 1 through July 31, 2026.
This internship offers hands‑on experience supporting executive-level communications and digital presence strategy within a fast‑growing health‑tech organization. The intern will work closely with the CEO and leadership team to help manage and elevate executive social media engagement, thought leadership, and brand visibility.
Responsibilities
Assisting in managing the CEO’s social media presence (LinkedIn, X, Instagram and other platforms), ensuring her voice is authentic and influential
Drafting and editing executive posts aligned with company strategy and voice, and executive's personal passions and interests
Conducting research on trending healthcare, GLP-1s, AI, and health‑tech topics, as well as culturally relevant and trending topics that align with CEO’s passion points and interests
Monitoring engagement, comments, and analytics to strengthen executive presence and community connection
Tracking performance metrics and preparing summary reports
Coordinating content calendars and publishing schedules tied to business priorities, events and cultural moments
Supporting executive event promotion and thought leadership initiatives
Assisting with visual content coordination (graphics, photos, short‑form video)
Ensuring brand consistency and professional tone across platforms
Interns will gain exposure to executive communications strategy, brand positioning, digital storytelling, and real‑time audience engagement within a nationally scaling healthcare platform.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program (Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or related field preferred)
U.S. Veterans are encouraged to apply
Strong writing and editing skills with attention to tone and audience
Familiarity with LinkedIn and other professional social platforms
Basic understanding of social media analytics and performance tracking
Highly organized and able to manage multiple deadlines
Professional judgment and ability to handle confidential information
Must be willing to work onsite at our Miami, FL headquarters
