Computer Aided Design Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented Survey CADD Technician to support land surveying projects by preparing accurate CAD drawings and processing survey data in collaboration with surveyors and engineers.
Responsibilities:
Create survey drawings using AutoCAD, Carlson, and MicroStation
Interpret field notes, maps, and sketches
Draft boundary, ALTA, topographic, and utility surveys
Process field data and develop terrain models
Review drawings for accuracy and compliance
Assist with as-built mapping and stakeout computations
Requirements:
5+ years of experience with AutoCAD and surveying software
Knowledge of NYSDOT standards preferred
Strong understanding of surveying principles and technical drawings
Good mathematical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
