Overview
PlanIT Group is seeking a senior or intermediate Front-End Angular Developer to join our Federal customer project. The role focuses on developing a time-critical web application that integrates with .NET Core APIs. You will be part of a small, agile team following best practices and industry standards, including OWASP Top 10 for security, responsive design, accessibility guidelines, and comprehensive unit testing.
Job Title : Front-End Angular Developer

Start Date : 01/06/24
Duration : One year plus annual extensions
Team : Small Agile Development Team
Responsibilities
Develop and Maintain Front-End: Design, develop, and maintain the front-end of the web application using Angular (18).
Component Libraries: Utilize Kendo UI (Telerik).
API Integration: Seamlessly integrate the front-end with .NET Core APIs.
Agile Methodologies: Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Best Practices: Adhere to industry best practices for responsive design, accessibility, and security (OWASP Top 10).
Unit Testing: Write and maintain unit tests for all developed features.
Independent and Collaborative Work: Balance independent task handling with effective collaboration.
Code Reviews and Documentation: Participate in code reviews and contribute to documentation for maintainability.
Time Management: Manage time effectively in a time-critical project environment.
Requirements
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Angular (latest version a plus).
Basic understanding of .NET Core and experience integrating with RESTful APIs.
Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
Understanding of responsive design principles and frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap).
Awareness of accessibility standards and guidelines.
Knowledge of security best practices (OWASP Top 10).
Experience with unit testing frameworks.
Tools and Technologies:
Version control systems (TFS).
Agile tools (e.g., Jira).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
Nice to Have
Experience with .NET Core development.
UI/UX Design Principles familiarity.
DevOps Knowledge and deploying applications in IIS.
