This role is for a Full Stack Python Developer on‑site in San Diego for a 12‑month contract.

Job Details

Contract type: W2 Contractor, 12 months

Work location: San Diego (on‑site, 5 days a week)

No travel required

Responsibilities

Deliver robust, quality software (code reviewed, unit tested, detailed design documents, well‑commented) to the planned schedule.

Own design and architecture of individual software components and/or subsystems.

Summarize and present details of designs in collaborative review sessions.

Follow all client software coding standards and processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline with 5+ years of experience, OR Master’s degree with 3+ years.

Strong knowledge of microservices, RESTful APIs, and event‑driven architectures.

Proficiency in Python 3.8.

Hands‑on experience with containers and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Experience with both relational and non‑relational databases.

Experience with Ubuntu, Azure DevOps, and Git.

Good understanding of Authentication/Authorization and OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect standards.
