We’re hiring a

Research Informatics Developer

to support high-impact healthcare and clinical research initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives working with complex datasets, enjoys collaborating with researchers, and has deep experience with healthcare data environments.

What You’ll Do
Partner with research stakeholders to translate questions into structured data requests
Design and build datasets using clinical and healthcare data sources
Write, optimize, and validate complex SQL queries across large relational databases
Work with EHR-sourced data to support analytics and research initiatives
Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity for downstream use
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements and iterate on deliverables
Contribute to improvements in data pipelines, warehouses, and workflows
Document methodologies and clearly communicate findings to diverse audiences

What You Bring
Strong SQL expertise (complex joins, subqueries, performance tuning)
Experience working with EHR data (e.g., Epic Clarity or similar systems)
Background in healthcare, clinical data, or research analytics
Experience with large-scale relational databases or data warehouse environments
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience

Nice to Have
Deep familiarity with EHR data structures or certifications
Experience supporting academic or clinical research teams
Knowledge of healthcare data models and standards
Exposure to data engineering concepts (ETL, data modeling)
Experience mentoring or guiding junior team members
