Senior Oracle Programmer (PL/SQL / Data Integration)

Pay Rate:

$60–$65/hour (W-2, No C2C or third party candidates)
Position Overview
We are seeking a

Senior Oracle Programmer

with 8+ years of experience to support enterprise applications and data services, including vendor-hosted (COTS) platforms. This role focuses on

database development, data integration, and migration efforts , ensuring secure, efficient, and accurate data flow across systems.
You will play a key role in both

project-based initiatives and ongoing maintenance , collaborating with architects, DBAs, and application teams to design, develop, and optimize data solutions in a complex enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support enterprise system modernization efforts, with a focus on

data migration and integration
Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database objects (tables, views, indexes, triggers, constraints)
Develop and optimize

PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions
Lead and execute

data migration and data conversion

activities
Support

data modeling

efforts, including logical and physical models and normalization
Develop and integrate

web services (SOAP/REST)

for system-to-system data exchange
Analyze data and metadata to ensure

accuracy, integrity, and compliance
Collaborate with Data Architects and DBAs on

performance tuning and best practices
Troubleshoot data-related issues and implement effective solutions
Participate in planning, estimation, and technical design sessions
Support multiple initiatives based on project priorities and capacity
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience

with Oracle PL/SQL development (packages, procedures, functions)
8+ years of experience

with Oracle tools (Toad, SQL Developer, or similar)
8+ years of experience

designing and maintaining Oracle database objects
8+ years of experience

in

data modeling

(logical/physical, normalization)
Proven experience supporting or integrating

vendor-hosted / COTS systems
8+ years of experience

in

data migration and data conversion
Strong experience in

data analysis, data quality, and metadata management
Experience developing and integrating

SOAP and/or REST web services
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on large-scale system modernization or replacement projects
Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture and integration patterns
Experience collaborating with cross-functional technical teams
