We are supporting a privately held digital infrastructure owner and developer on their search for a

Senior Manager, Contracts . This role sits within the Supply Chain organization and plays a critical owner‑side role in shaping contractual strategy and execution for large‑scale, mission‑critical construction projects, including data centers. The Senior Manager, Contracts will lead end‑to‑end contracting activities from RFP development through construction close‑out, representing ownership interests across EPC, design‑build, OFCI, and major supply agreements, with a strong focus on optimizing risk allocation, schedule certainty, compliance, and cost outcomes.

Responsibilities

Lead the creation, issuance, and full‑cycle management of RFPs for EPC, design‑build, professional services, OFCI, long‑lead equipment, and major supply agreements
Negotiate and execute complex owner‑side contract documents, including EPC, design‑build, and major procurement agreements, ensuring alignment with cost, schedule, and risk objectives
Develop, maintain, and continuously improve contract templates, commercial terms, negotiation playbooks, and standard positions tailored to fast‑paced capital project delivery
Partner closely with legal, procurement, project management, engineering, and finance teams to ensure contractual compliance, scope clarity, and coordinated execution
Support project teams with change orders, claims, extensions of time, close‑outs, and dispute resolution to minimize commercial exposure and maintain project momentum
Oversee vendor prequalification, bid evaluation processes, and long‑lead equipment and OFCI procurement strategies
Track contract obligations, critical milestones, notice requirements, and deliverables to ensure adherence to owner standards and project requirements
Provide regular reporting to leadership on contracting activities, commercial risk exposure, commitments, and overall contract performance across active projects

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, law, or a related field; advanced degree (Master's or JD) preferred
5+ years of contract management experience supporting major capital construction projects
Demonstrated owner‑side experience negotiating and administering EPC, design‑build, and major procurement contracts
Strong understanding of construction contract law, commercial risk allocation, claims management, and dispute resolution
Experience supporting projects across the full lifecycle, from initial RFP through construction and close‑out
Proficiency with contract management and document control systems and the MS Office suite
Preferred Skills & Attributes
Experience supporting data center, mission‑critical, or other complex infrastructure projects
Familiarity with OFCI and long‑lead equipment procurement strategies
Strong commercial judgment with the ability to balance cost, schedule, and risk from an owner's perspective
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple high‑value contracts simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment
