Position Summary
The
Costing & Solutioning Manager
is responsible for developing pricing models and commercial solutions for Integrated Facility Management (IFM) and facility services contracts, including cleaning, security, and project or post-construction work.
This role supports bids, renewals, and scope changes by building accurate cost models, analyzing financial data, and partnering closely with operations and procurement teams to ensure pricing accuracy and competitiveness.
While the role does not carry direct P&L ownership, it plays a critical role in influencing contract profitability, margin protection, and overall win rates for high-value, multi-million-dollar contracts.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed cost models for facility services contracts
Analyze financial and operational data to support pricing strategy and commercial decisions
Collaborate with operations, procurement, and delivery teams to validate assumptions and inputs
Prepare pricing for bids, proposals, contract renewals, and scope changes
Monitor contract profitability and recommend pricing adjustments to protect margins
Support pricing strategy for large, complex service contracts with significant commercial impact
Core KPIs
Pricing accuracy versus actual cost outcomes
Turnaround time for pricing requests
Win rate of priced proposals
Margin protection on awarded contracts
Required Experience & Skills
5–7 years of experience in pricing, costing, commercial finance, or financial analysis
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
Solid understanding of cost drivers within facility services operations
Experience pricing services across cleaning, security, and project or construction-related work
Ability to manage complex, multi-variable cost models and deliver actionable insights
Preferred Experience
Experience within Integrated Facility Management (IFM) environments
Exposure to both government and private-sector clients
Familiarity with pricing for bundled service contracts

Ability to

and clearly articulate pricing decisions
