TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced and hands-on Principal IT Architect, CPQ located in Atlanta, GA.

TKE is currently seeking an experienced Principal Architect to work in the IT Architecture organization. This role is responsible for bridging technology & business goals to create achievable enterprise solutions. They will be required to have a relevant experience in quote-to-cash processes and expertise in defining strategy, creating guidelines and best practices for CPQ (Configure, Price & Quote) solution with integrations to CRM and ERP. The Principal Architect must have a broad knowledge of software, hardware, applications, networking & business process engineering, while influencing architecture, design, & integration of solutions.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Help business leaders envision Configure, Price and Quote solutions to streamline sales with integrations to CRM and ERP, foster partnerships with stakeholders and creates value propositions in quote-to-cash processes.
  • Define CPQ Strategy, standards and best practices in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and administrators, to deliver integrated solutions while minimizing customizations.
  • Collaborate across IT, Business Partners and vendors to ensure implementations and integrations are designed, developed and deployed in a scalable way.
  • Propose and implement improvements to optimize the use of CPQ within manufacturing, sales, field service and customer service processes.
  • Configure advanced CPQ features, pricing logic, workflows and templates
  • Perform thorough testing of solutions to ensure they meet functional and technical requirements, conducting regular system audits and ensuring data integrity.
  • Develop solutions cross functionally, owning the implementations needed in CPQ, including design, implementation, quality control, end-to-end testing plans in multiple
  • environments (dev/test/stage/prod), troubleshooting, bug fixing and post release end user support.
  • Provide input on delivery timelines for implementations, set expectations cross - functionally.
  • Provide input into Quality Assurance to ensure functional and non-functional requirements are deployed with minimal defects.
  • Participate in daily standups, discovery sessions, backlog refinement, sprint planning and
  • retrospective meetings for the Salesforce team.
  • Review and approve configuration and coded items to be deployed between environments; this can include from time to time supervising the configuration, quality assurance, testing, and deployment of CPQ and dependent system changes.
  • Write documentation on technical designs, technical processes, best practices; from time to time this can include providing technical training for cross-functional teams.

Who we are looking for


  • EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, System Analysis or a related field. Or equivalent work experience.
  • Typically has 15 or more years of IT and business/industry work experience including architecture design and deployment, systems lifecycle management and infrastructure planning and operations with exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience designing and supervising complex implementations of CPQ solution and integration with CRM and ERP, preferably SAP CPQ
  • Background in enterprise security, identity management (SSO, OAuth, SAML), data protection, and compliance.
  • Proven experience with system integration patterns, APIs (REST, SOAP), middleware, and asynchronous architectures.
  • CRM and ERP implementation and support experience is a plus
  • Ability to be a visionary to proactively assist in defining future CPQ projects. Ability to conceive strategies, solutions, build consensus, and execute solutions.
  • Capability to work both independently and as a team member. Strong communication skills in interfacing with TKE partners and the IT community are required.
  • Aptitude to educate and guide others on architectural standards, principles, methodology and trends.
  • In-depth experience aligning business requirements with IT solutions.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management to assess business requirements, and to plan, manage and deliver stable, reliable and cost-effective technology solutions.

  • Thorough understanding of systems to perform functional and non-functional requirements analysis and testing based on requirements.
  • Define problem statements, analyze process, system, data and people issues and present solution options for requirements
  • Define and comply with standard processes to maintain high availability and stability of application/system
  • Timely resolution of Problems and Issues
  • Accurate and timely completion of assigned components of the detailed project/plan

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Salesforce Admin/Developer certification
  • SAP or Oracle implementation certification or equivalent work experience
  • Master Data Management experience
