Senior Accountant
to join its team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on, collaborative firm environment and is comfortable handling a variety of accounting responsibilities throughout the year.
The firm is looking for a well-rounded accounting professional who can support ongoing client accounting work and assist with tax preparation and occasional audit engagements as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Handle accounting work for clients throughout the year
Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and general ledger activity
Assist with bookkeeping, month-end close, and year-end accounting tasks
Support tax preparation during tax season, including individual and/or business returns
Assist with audit engagements on an as-needed basis
Communicate with clients regarding accounting, tax, and financial information
Maintain accurate records and ensure timely completion of assigned work
Work closely with firm leadership in supporting client service needs
Qualifications
Public accounting or CPA firm experience preferred
Strong accounting and bookkeeping background
Experience with tax preparation is a plus
Audit exposure is helpful but not required
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a boutique firm environment
Detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working independently
Strong communication and organizational skills
