Labor and delivery coverage including GYN consults through the emergency room
Requirements
Board certification
Colorado license
Life safety certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, CALS, NRP)
Required Procedures / Skills
Endometrial biopsy
IUD insertions and removals
Colposcopy
LEEP
Hysteroscopy
Cesarean sections
Tubal ligations
Hysterectomies
D&C procedures
All OB/GYN procedures
Assignment Details
Facility trauma level: 2
OB volume: approximately 962 deliveries per year
Patient demographics include pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
EMR: Epic
Support staff includes MA, LPN, RN, and NP/PA
L&D call room available with restroom and shower (badge entry)
