Job Summary
Collaborates with management to define and execute marketing activities that support business growth, brand awareness, and audience engagement. Supports the execution of Hackster’s media and marketing strategy across social media, newsletters, and the Hackster.io platform under the direction of the Media Lead.

Identifies, establishes, and maintains relationships with internal stakeholders, contributors, and external partners to leverage current offerings, campaigns, and opportunities. Assists with planning, execution, and measurement of marketing activities to support demand generation and market awareness while ensuring alignment with Hackster and Avnet brand standards.

Principal Responsibilities

Support the Media Lead in executing Hackster’s media and marketing strategy across social media, web, and email

Assist with video preparation and asset coordination using approved tools

Assist with defining, developing, and executing marketing and media activities aligned to campaign objectives

Publish, edit, and manage content on Hackster.io using established workflows and schedules

Support recurring editorial content and contributor programs by coordinating submissions, formatting, and publication

Draft, schedule, and publish posts across Hackster’s social media channels under direction

Support newsletter creation and distribution using Mailchimp

Coordinate media assets and timelines with internal teams, vendors, and partners

Assist with execution of campaigns, giveaways, and events

Support basic reporting, analytics, and performance tracking

Help maintain standardized marketing tools, templates, and collateral to ensure consistent look and feel

Collaborate with internal peers to support marketing and media initiatives

May support occasional travel to industry events, partner activations, or company initiatives as needed

Foundational knowledge of marketing, media, or digital communications acquired through education or early career experience

Executes defined tasks and projects using established processes and tools

Works independently on assigned tasks while receiving direction and review from management

Exercises judgment within defined parameters; escalates issues as appropriate

Actions primarily affect assigned work and departmental outcomes

Work Experience

Typically, less than 2 years with bachelor’s or equivalent.

Education And Certification(s)

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
