Position Details:
Patient Population: Pediatric
Setting: Inpatient Pediatric Unit / Hospital-based
Responsibilities:

* Provide inpatient pediatric hospitalist care for medical patients
* Consult pediatric patients in the emergency department and surgical patients
* Lead and oversee program operations as Medical Director
* Collaborate with sister program at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center
* Participate in leadership, quality improvement, and team development
* Opportunity for faculty appointment with Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine

Required Procedures: Standard pediatric hospitalist care and consultations
EMR System: Not specified
Support Staff: Hospital-based pediatric team with regional collaboration
Days Per Month: 7 on / 7 off schedule
On-Call/Weekends: Round in hospital with call from home during scheduled block
Submission Requirements:

* Board Certified in Pediatrics
* Board Certified in Pediatric Hospital Medicine
* Active Idaho license or IMLC eligible (or willing to obtain)
* Minimum 1 year leadership experience
* DEA (prior to start)
* CSR/CDS (prior to start)
* NPDB Self Query within 30 days
* J1 visa candidates accepted
* Permanent Placement Fee $25K acknowledgment
