Expertise with Ansible for automation and orchestration, including:
Writing custom playbooks and roles.
Automating configuration management and deployment processes for network devices.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with containerization and cloud networking technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
Experience with other network automation frameworks such as Python, Terraform, or Chef.
Knowledge of load balancing technologies (e.g., F5 BIG‑IP, Citrix ADC) and features like session persistence.
Strong understanding of network security protocols and controls (e.g., SSL, VPN, firewalls).
Familiarity with SD‑WAN and Network Function Virtualization (NFV).
Certifications (Preferred, but Not Required)
Cisco certifications: CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE.
Automation‑focused credentials: Cisco DevNet Associate/Professional, Red Hat Ansible certifications.
Security certifications: CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent.
