Network Engineer
We are looking for a Network Engineer with extensive experience designing, deploying, and supporting mission‑critical secure networks for the U.S. Air Force. The role involves system interoperability, OSI model application, network application administration, encryption integration, routing and switching, and troubleshooting complex network issues to enhance security, reliability, and availability.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement specialized network infrastructure that meets evolving Air Force requirements.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex network issues to maintain mission‑critical availability.

Design secure, high‑performance network architectures, incorporating routing protocols (BGP, NAT, IPsec) and encryption gear.

Create and maintain standard operating procedures, IP address management plans, maintenance schedules, and recovery procedures.

Serve as trusted advisor on cryptographic equipment, firewalls, cloud platforms, and monitoring solutions.

You Have

3+ years of experience supporting network switching and routing.

3+ years of experience designing and troubleshooting secure networks.

Experience managing, configuring, and optimizing transport circuits and routes.

Experience developing SOPs for new network connections, IP address management, maintenance schedules, and recovery procedures.

Knowledge of routing protocols and services such as BGP, NAT, or IPsec.

TS/SCI clearance.

HS diploma or GED.

Security+ Certification.

Nice to Have

Experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure connectivity.

Experience with VMware vSphere or Horizon.

Experience in SAPF and SCIF environments.

Knowledge of managing TACACS+ and RADIUS.

Ability to create and manage network support documentation.

Bachelor's degree in IT, Cyber, or Information Systems.

CCNA or CCNP Certification.

Cloud Certifications, including Cloud+, AWS, or Microsoft Certifications.

Clearance
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Compensation
Salary range: $77,500 – $176,000 (annualized USD), depending on location, experience, and contract requirements.
