Our client, a leading technology organization specializing in global network solutions, is seeking an Optical Network Engineer to join their team. As an Optical Network Engineer, you will be part of the Networking Department supporting the deployment and management of our Client's extensive DWDM network. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive approach to innovation, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range:
$75-80 per hour (No C2C)
What's the Job?
Design and support optical solutions for global DWDM network deployment and rollout.
Drive optical scaling tasks, including fiber quality reviews, generating cutsheets, and configuration management to meet customer demands.
Define and configure management solutions to support remote monitoring and device visibility of optical networks.
Collaborate closely with field technicians and fiber teams to ensure timely scaling of optical networks supporting business growth.
Review and implement changes on optical systems using CLI configurations or automated scripting processes, ensuring adherence to network standards.
What's Needed?
Bachelor’s Degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience with major DWDM platforms and optical planning, modeling tools, and hands‑on implementation.
Experience with the rollout of large DWDM networks in Metro and Long Haul spaces.
Knowledge of optical network design, planning, and implementation skills.
Ability to troubleshoot complex optical network issues and propose innovative solutions to improve deployment agility.
