*What We're Looking For:*
We are searching for a true automotive expert – a Master ASE Certified Technician who possesses a comprehensive understanding of vehicle systems and can accurately diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of makes and models. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver, a team player, and committed to providing outstanding customer service.
*Responsibilities:*
* Perform complex diagnostic tests using advanced equipment and tools to identify vehicle issues.
* Execute a wide range of repairs, including but not limited to: engine diagnostics and repair, transmission service, brake systems, steering and suspension, electrical systems, HVAC, and drivability concerns.
* Conduct thorough multi-point inspections and identify necessary repairs or maintenance.
* Accurately document all repairs performed, parts used, and time spent.
* Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle issues and recommended services.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology, repair techniques, and industry best practices through ongoing training and professional development.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
* Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
* Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced technicians.
*Qualifications:*
* *Current Master Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification required.* (Specify which ASE certifications are preferred/required, e.g., A1-A8, L1, H6, etc.)
* (Number) years of experience as an automotive technician, with a significant portion in a lead or master technician role.
* Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and repairing complex automotive issues across various vehicle systems.
* Proficiency with diagnostic scan tools, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other specialized automotive equipment.
* Strong understanding of vehicle electrical and electronic systems.
* Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
* High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or vocational training in automotive technology preferred.
* Personal set of tools required.
